Our program introduces you to Spanish so you can provide rich exposure at home.
With our coaching, activities and products, you have the tools to build bilingualism through approaches like OPOL, and T&P. In weekly coaching sessions, our teacher-author engages you through lessons and materials. You then transfer these to your children. We provide guidance so you feel confident teaching Spanish.
We’re excited to partner with you on this rewarding journey. With Mamaestra, you’ll make bilingualism happen!

Using the glove to introduce vocabulary in various ways.
Developing a student’s vocabulary at an early age is essential to their learning. What better way to introduce new vocabulary than using the mamaestra glove instead of translating or making long lists of words. There are many ways to introduce new vocabulary.
We recommend you place each word within the finger of your glove, then point using the toybook small elements. Pointing has the advantage of introducing words in blocks, and you can introduce several words in a single lesson with ease. Great for visual learners.
The glove is also recommended for naming and miming. Kinesthetic learners, i.e., those who learn best by moving their bodies, will benefit greatly from this technique. Exaggerating emotions and facial expressions work best with children, according to our experience. Provide children with plenty of opportunities for practice when introducing new words. You can be sure that Mamaestra will provide you with whatever resources you may need.
We offer you twenty songs to sing with your child.
Here are twenty songs for you to sing with your child. There are twenty topics covered in the description. As a Mamaestra, your job is to sing along with the songs as much as possible, slowly at first, until you become so comfortable with them that you no longer need to read them. You’ll be surprised at how much you’ll learn together.
